Where Has the Summer Gone???

ALOT of swimming.....

We are so excited to be heading to the Championship meet!
Samuel qualified to go in EVERY event!
( including the time he swam up an age division and qualified in the 100 IM)
Joshua was very close to a qualifying time in his breastroke and his coach ended up asking him to go to champs on the relay team. He is SO excited!

39th birthday celebrations at the alien diner....

...where my children turned into aliens!!!!

....and I noticed the "Spicy Shannon" on the menu that I just had to get a picture of for my sister Shannon!

And after spending endless days at the pool with my kids, the adult-only Luau was a huge hit!

Next up: Champs, Cub Day Camp, and a trip to Oregon!

Team Pictures

When summer gets here, the pool becomes a second home to my kids! We spent the evening at a "Splash-a-thon" where they raised money for the number of laps they swam. The three youngest kids swam almost 300 laps!!! Joshua and Samuel each swam a mile! The bad news is that I was completely clueless as to how many laps my kids could swim and I pledged $1 per lap. Good thing I put a maximum dollar amount down!

We had team pictures done and I had to grab a few candid shots while they were setting up. Here is the final picture..... And the candid shots.....

You couldn't ask for a more fun coach! The kids LOVE him! And he definitely knows his swimming!
