It's GREAT to be EIGHT!

Yesterday, Samuel got baptized! He was so excited for this day to come!
It was fun for him to be baptized with his friend, Nathan. It was a bit of a long day, since we went to church from 1-4 and then had his baptism at 5. We ended up just staying after church and eating sandwiches between church and the baptism, but we all survived!
James (Chris' brother) and Sandra and their kids came. It was fun to see them again, even if it was just for the baptism. We really need to get together more often!
This picture pretty much sums it up....when you feel this good, you just gotta scream! Yes, this is the wild and crazy Samuel that I love!

Thank you for the wonderful reminder of how important this covenant is. I just love that these 8 year olds get to make such an important decision at such a tender age. Coming from one who has substituted in Samuel's class, he was ready and more than willing to take the plunge...YEA SAMUEL!!
